About Me
Verania Garza Tamez is a student at Arcola Jr. Sr. High School. She has lived in Arcola, Illinois her entire life. Due to the great influence of having immigrant parents, She is industrious in school, work and her pastime crafts. She is a part of the National Honor Society Club and the American Field Service Club. She values the importance of education, but focuses on her interest in Health and Fitness. Fitness is one of her pastime crafts, her beliefs on fitness is that it is form of stress relief, it can be very spiritual and is very beneficial to a person. She hopes to pursue this interest after graduating high school.

"On Tuesday, Kris Clodfelder came into our class to speak to us about ethics and investments. I learned a lot about ethics with employees that I didn’t think about prior. For example, an employee takes a box of paper clips from a company. It is always wrong for them to take it, but if 100 employees do it, then the company is out that amount of money for just providing it for their work environments."
