"One thing I like to do in my free time is go to museums. I found the Douglas County Museum to be very interesting. There are many things I learned after leaving. It was also fun to see all the antiques they had and compare them with today’s technology. It is different to hear how a museum gets its funds to stay open rather than a regular business."

"I enjoyed hearing from Jaci Manzella of First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust. It is interesting to hear the various requirements and what the home mortgage application consists of when asking for a loan. A mortgage lender sounds like an interesting career. Jaci sounds like she is passionate with what she does from her statement “I take joy helping one person who is trying to sell a house transition into another person/family searching for a house and being able to find the right one and move in.”

After visiting Harris Companies another world was opened. I never knew an average electrical business would be shipping part and person elevators across the globe. It was awesome to hear the history of the business.
